The Menards dollies are a bit stronger looking with a reinforcing rod across the top of the "dip" to prevent flexing and I think are alittle bigger too. That helps with my 3/4 ton sized tires. I've never used HF dollies, just looked at them, so I can't say how well they work compared to mine. They also have the poly wheels so no floor damage from these either. Wait for a sale at Menards and you should be able to pick them up fairly reasonably. Also, I bought mine from Menards before we had a HF store in our area,
