For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 11 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 11 | The motor on my electric cooling fan started making a "grinding" sound, so I pulled it off so I could find the problem. The motor shaft was hard to turn and appeared to be binding up on something. I took it apart and found the magnets had come "unglued" from the body of the motor. Anyone have any idea where to get the proper glue, epoxy, or whatever it would take to glue the magnets back? Everything else inside the motor looked good, so I hope I can save the fan. | | |
