Great handle, brings a smile to my face.
I sure can't envision glued on magnets, but seeing must be believing. Your local ACE hardware or similar hardware store has a huge selection of epoxies...at least mine does.
My ACE carries DEVCON high strength versions that I know are very strong.
It seems like every little DC motor I have ever torn apart had a rotor that was made of the laminated pieces and then wound with magnet wire. I have never seen any magnets that were glued on.
