Denny about sums it up. Aftermarket/reproduction parts for the most part are a little off at best most of the time. A little bending and maybe even reeming the holes a little bit to make them fit won't hurt anything. You can X measure the frame to see if it is off, but most likely a modification of the bracket will be necessary.
