Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 4,251 So Cal	If I remember correctly, the main issue between the early and late was they changed the angle of the middle 4 bolts on the intake manifold. The block should be the same. Do a quick visual to verify. Mark 1951 Chevy Suburban In the Stovebolt Gallery Lots and LOTS of pictures Project Journal --- 10 pages worth!
