I was at the Chev dealer for an unrelated part and the parts guy, who has been selling parts for many years, said people used to put rolls of toilet paper in the filter cannisters. I didn't think to asked but I assumed they used 2 ply!!
It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.
