So you're saying that the very first step of a rebuild should be to take it to a machine shop and have them evaluate it? If it passes muster it sounds like you're saying they do everything? I mean if they inspect it, disassemble it, grind the crank, do the valves and "square up" everything... what's left to do when you pick it up?
