I think my 49 truck may have a 54 frame. I seem to remember someone saying the 54 had a bit higher kick up above the rear end. My bedwood sits on the frame at that point and the bed looks like it slopes downhill toward the cab. Did the shock mounts rivet or bolt in the 54 frames? (mine are bolted) I noticed a frame indentation where the 54 license plate should be on mine as well.
