Well like Bob posted a little earlier, the truck plates may not have been prefixed with the gross weight designator, i.e., B,C,C etc. The front/rear designation for trucks did make sense. I would like to find a little more history on this subject, I would think that the plate collector groups would have that sort of info but I have no idea how to find them. Anyone have an address please post it.
