(Clockwise from the front!) With a tight fan belt, the engine should turn. Another method is to put the truck in high gear, and gently roll it forward until #1 rolls up to TDC. BTW, the timing mark comes up twice, once at the top of the compression stroke, and again at TDC on exhaust. One of our guys here spent a couple of weeks figuring that one out! Be sure both valves are closed on #1 when you line up the timing mark! Jerry
