Based on my experience: Take the money you think it will take and double that. Then take the time it will take and multiply by 4. Once you accept that, start the project. Try not to get shipfitters disease.

If this is your first project, take Builders advise. Start with small projects. My advise would be Suspension, Brakes, drivetrain, front sheet metal, then body and paint, followed by interior.

This way, you have reasonable milestones as well as a vehicle you can use between steps.

An never have 4 projects going on at the same time....ever......especially when they all catch shipfitters disease(I am learning this one the hard way...)
