Only way i have ever found to remedy the problem is to remove the dipstick and replace the O-Ring seal add a generous amount of vasoline to the seal and take your time reinstaling it to make sure you dont tear it. On my project the tube was beat up and dented from PO , probabaly installin the motor an trans , any how i purchsed a replacement stick from Summitt it is a Hughes performance it was a bit pricey i thought but there Seal desighn on the end of tube is pretty much BULLETPROOF ! Just tossin out an Idea Tim | | |
