I won an auction for orginal 1958 license plates for my 'bolt. The plates are black with white letters. Once I get the plates in hand, I will see whether they would look better as-is, or if they would be helped by stripping and repainting.
Any suggestions for the paint? Does anyone know if '58 era tags were reflective, or were they just plain ol' enamel?
