mummdog: they are not that hard to put in but can be aggravating. You have to take the hinge apart to put the springs in and then put them back together and put in the door hinge pin. Mine were gone and I ordered them from JCarter. After I got them it takes a few minutes but you will figure our how they go. Just sit down and take a good look at them. I have not put mine back together yet as I also got new hinge pins and I need to drill them holes out just a tat for the new pins. If you don't think you can drill them straight take them to a machine shop and let them drill them. Also taking the old ones out can be a hassle in some cases. Soak them good and don't get in a big hurry. I ended up having to get mine pressed out since I don't have "heat". Good luck.
