Don, My 46 radio is back from Justin, it plays great, rigged it up on the work bench and now need to get it actually in the cab. Everything I've ever seen on these says that this radio is supposed to be to the left of the steering column, which is fine with me. Plus there seems to me no other option with this narrow cab.
You so kindly sent me pics of the long support bracket, now I'm attempting to figure out just how that fits my truck. I'm planning a similar bracket that will extend from the left side of the dash on a diagonal out to the firewall center. This bracket's only job is to suspend the radio at the back.
Just wanted to know if you have gotten around to installing yours and just how you mounted that long bracket.
