Try just sticking a long screwdriver down the sparkplug hole. Turn the engine very slow till you hit the screwdriver and mark the balancer. Then, reverse the direction till you hit it again, and mark the balancer. Next, measure the distance between marks and cut it in half. That is TDC. Joe
