Yep that's what we did in Holland too, looping the antenna cable in big or smaller loops will work sometimes too, but this thingy is going on the roof of the house, I hope the wind won't bring it down, and adjusting there is no fun. If I can get it installed, I have a Midland in the truck and that base station at home, so my wife can get a hold of me, when needed. And if I want to be "gone" then I just switch it off :)Neighbours can get a hold of me too, now I spent hours at home, waiting for that phone call, that never comes. I just thought radio=one way. CB=two way, there's a connection there
