welcome to the forum. I don't have a lot of experience with CB matters, especially with and 18 foot antenna. The one rig I did have in a car had a combined radio/CB antenna. What I do remember is that adjusting with the SWR meter gave the same results as adjusting for maximum noise with the squelch off. | | |
