For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall | | Moderator: Welcome Centre, Southern Bolters, Legion Hall Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 14,522 | I copied and pasted the reply above from an earlier post by Mar-K. This is good reading. I had a problem finding the marine primer I needed so I went ahead and used Spar Urethane. About 4 good coats on Oak wood. Looks great. I do keep my truck inside though. The frist time I did this it looked nice for about 3 years but it was exposed to the elements a lot. Read what Mar-K is doing and you will come up with the right answer for you. | | |
