#31454 11/04/2002 7:56 AM | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | Well, I got my engine out of an unmolested '62 burb, and the burb had the smaller fittings for the heater from the water pump and the lower part of the thermostat housing, and there was a bypass hose that went from the upper part of the housing (the part that has the bypass holes in the 'stat) back to the water pump. I am probably going to repeat what it had and keep the big neck and 261 'stat. I am going to water heat my Edmunds intake when I install it (with 2 2bbl holleys)
