Hey, I thinck You you did real good getting that intake , I think you better heat it because you can , and I think prettry highly of " Stromm bergs" , I found an old shop local that had a alot of old " S/B " carbs, or parts, way cheap. That makes me think they made alot of them, the one I bought was a BXOV-3/ W,/an adjustable mane jet. Still in part of the box it came in, W/ the instructions wire tied to it. I have since looked for more, W/no luck. But I think your on to sommthing. Dont give up , and dont loose that intake , it can't be replaced .You can find the carb's for it, it may take a wile, certanly look for "S/B"though, in the end you'll be glad you did
