Well, I ended up getting a set of 4 good Holley/Foard 94's (well, three plus a parts carb) for $105 for the whole package. They have the same base as the strombergs and are apparantly easier to use in multicarb setups. They were originally used on the flattie V8's. I am going to clean them up and rebuild them and use them. They will be differant and look great. This is going to be a pre-1960 vintage truck rod with a hot 235 and double deuces. I will either get a set of fentons or weld up a tube header. I am thinking the latter, because last time I welded I did such a good job I surprised myself. I am going to keep the "Chevrolet" script valve cover on the 235 and paint the engine chevy gray and highlight the casting numbers and lettering on the valve cover with the body color, which will be armour yellow.
