I know that since the rebirth of vintage hot rod stuff, the price of good Stromberg 97's or the 94's has gone up a lot.Quality rebuilds are in the $150 range on your core.There are several shops rebuilding and or reworking these style carbs for use on vintage engines multiple carb set ups ,especially the flathead FoMoCo V-8's.You might want to search the web or buy a street rodder type magazine to look at the ads.As with most multiple carb sets ups, you have to reduce the flow of the high speed jetting system to prevent over riching at wide open throttle..The reduced vacuum signal on two carbs may also cause a part throttle lean condition.As far as I know(not much)only early Strombergs use that bolt pattern.Don't be afraid to make an adapter to use different carbs Two Strombergs would flow about 400 cfm,good for a 235 engine. Plus if would be different than the usual Rochester setups in appearance.
