I just recently got a riding lawnmower and discovered that the spark plug hole is stripped out so the plug wont seal. Its a regular 1 cylinder, gasoline engine. Would the local machine shop be able to fix this? Or is there someting simple I can do to fix this? I tried rethreading the hole and the threads just broke off leaving a smooth hole. Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks!
