I just found a nice new set of 16 rims for my 54 1ton. Anyway they took off the old ones and I kept them. My question is what is the danger in split rims. I know they can fly apart and kill you. I mean if I let the air out of the tires am I in danger? If I take them apart? I was planning on keeping them, just as I did with the generator, etc. incase of future restoration.
