It's tempting to ask what part of "fly apart and kill you" doesn't sound dangerous. 8-) As noted, once all the air is out, most of the danger is gone. But, they are *very* dangerous to refill. People die. Especially because there's the chance of failure on the road, a whole new level of excitement. Why risk it?
Let the air out, store them, and don't ever use them. No
resto is worth that level of risk.
