I an attempting to adjust the valves on my 230, due to tickng from upper end. Engine has sat for years, I have had it running maybe 2 months, I have run it maybe 100 miles. Did it shut off using tdc/firing order. Still ticking, decided to run engine. When the rocker stops tapping & I turn any more to set preload I get a valve hanging open. I removed one lifter, disassembled & cleaned it, nothing major noted, but seems "springy" now. Clean them all? Brian
