You could take a close nipple and a cap, drill holes in the side of the cap near the top, or drill holes in the nipple. Holes need to be small to keep dirt out.
Try putting an ad in the swap meet, surely someone has one in a rear end the replaced. You could also try a salvage yard that has older vehicles, or give one of the on-line vendors a call. Jeff at Bowtie Bits probably has some.
