I have a leak from the steering box on a '41 that appears to be coming through the threads of the thrust bearing adjuster. It's dry everyplace but on the bottom where the locknut fastens the adjuster. It's more than just a drip, will make a puddle in a few days. Anyone seen this before and is there a fix for it? Someone suggested putting in chassis grease instead of steering gear lube, but I don't think that's a good idea.
