Yes, you're getting through! At this point in time, I doubt if emission controls matter one way or the other. Your truck has fallen off the edge of the world, as far as the emission regulators are concerned. Here in Tennessee, cars in the metropolitan areas from the mid-70's on up must maintain an intact emissions system, because there's a federal-mandated emissions test required before license plates can be issued. In rural areas, anything goes. Of course, there's still a federal law that mandates a $5,000.00 fine and 5 years in jail for EVERY vehicle a mechanic modifies! Ya pays yer money, and ya takes yer chances!
