back again, I ran the numbers on my 69 gmc 396 and was told it was a factory 375 hp motor. It has a factory cast high rise intake, quadra jet carb, cast manifolds. I am going to rebuild the heads{valve guides are weak} but don't know if I should stay stock or have them upgraded while they are out. any info? thanks
