My 52 3/4 ton pick up has a 235 with a rochester B carb. I have had very little problem with the carb until recently. The truck set up for about 3 months and when I finished my body work on it, it started the first time. Here, however is my new problem. I have always used the choke to start a cold engine, but it doesn't need it now and starts easily without the choke, in fact when you choke it it becomes more difficult to start. In addition, it seems to idle really slow and when you turn the idle screw to speed up the idle it has the opposite effect and the engine starts to slow down even more and starts to die. What gives?
