I know it's been asked but I can't find the thread, so here it is again:
What 5 speed trannys can be used with a 68 250? Easiest bolt up/conversion. I know that I'll have to change the driveshaft (I hate 2 piece shafts anyway, just gives a second spot for pole vaulting), but what else? I do a lot of driving (long range fishin spots) and the mileage increase would be nice.
Secondary question, I'm considering finding an old 327 to rebuild in the garage. Would the 5 spd still bolt up?
