I agree on the "balderdash" statement. I don't see how the guy can state that "any new pistons you buy are .020 below the deck."
That's just not true. I don't know the specs for each and every piston on the market, but I know they aren't all offset to put 'em further in the hole.
You could have the block zero-decked but if it were me, I'd sure wanna see how far the pistons were inside before I started any milling.
I can't tell ya the difference between a 235 and a 261...but I sure like my ol' long stroke 292.
