Wiperman also did a good job on the motor for my '46. He had to change the shaft as the PO had brazed a hex nut to the end of it and ruined the original.
I saw in his add that he bought or traded vacuum motors. I had a spare motor for a different year truck that I didn't need. I asked him if he was interested in it and he said it wasn't a rare motor, but to send it anyway, if I wanted. He kept it and used the credit to pay the shipping for my '46 motor. I was happy with that, and glad to get it to someone who could use it.
Another thing I liked, was when I called, I spoke to the Wiperman himself.
