You said the smoke was "white-blue"? Blue smoke is usually oil. If your plugs are black, then I would start with adjusting the carb. Black plugs means it's running rich. Check your timing while you're at it. How old is the engine (last rebuild)? Also, you said it doesn't smoke when you start it up, but after 5-10 minutes it starts to smoke? Does it stop smoking any time after that? John.
