I removed the gauge assembly last summer in an attempt to fix the gas gauge(which i never got working) anyway I have since reinstalled the assembly and reconnected the oil line from the engine to the gauge. Now it doesn't work at all. It used to work fine i think, it read about 3/4 when on the freeway and half when idleing. My question is do you have to bleed the line of air before hooking to the gauge? Do you guys think the gauge just bite the big one on me? I know the tube has oil in it, i was testing the gas gauge and forgot to hook it up and oil came out all over last summer.
