on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,132 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,132 | Need advice and I understand I can get it here. On my 49 burb where does the spare go? The under the rear bumper spare hanger was missing when I bought the sub or maybe the spare doesn't go there. I read an article that was posted I believe by Tim Lederman that shows the spare on a panel bolted to the inside rear left corner. Is this where mine goes? I have installed a 30 gallon gas tank between the frame rails just behind the rear crossmember. I also will be putting a trailer hitch back there so I don't think there will be room for a spare tire hanger there also. I think putting it inside ala panel would be the way for me to go. But how does it mount? How 'bout it Bolters, help me out here. Weeds | | |
