Chevrolet had rear coils standard. Leafs were an option.
Old Sub's statement is correct. Either truck could have either suspension. Although leafs may have been a requirement for a Suburban no matter which brand.
My '62 Suburban has coils in the rear, with T-bar front suspension. -Brad
