hello ove. i once put an olds 455 into a 67 gmc. as i remember the front mount bractets on the frame had to be moved forward, the motor was bolted to the chevy bell housing using a tci adapter plate, the headers were for a mid size olds car,and i used a saginaw 4 spd. it fit good, it sounded real good, but that long stroke engine wasn't very good for everyday use with the low gearing the rear axle had. good luck
