Yup, these auto cams seem to have minds of their own and sometimes don't see what the human eye does. The manual settings solve this problem if you have the time and patience to study and experiment which I don't. I found I get the best results on the white vehicles when it is lightly overcast or the sun even behind a cloud. Shoot in full sun and the white paint will have a bluish tint to it.
