You guys want to show off your trucks and who could blame you. Let me offer a little advice. The worst thing you can do is take a photo in partial shade. The camera will not know whether to expose for the bright areas or for the dark areas. If you must take a photo in mixed lighting conditions, be sure to use your fill flash. If you don't know how to select it on your camera, read the book that came with it. If you have a choice full shade is better than partial shade. Take photos when it is raining a little and there will be no shadows. You get nice even exposure and the vehicle will really shine with a little water on it. If you are out in the sun, always try to shoot the side exposed to the sun. Don't get me wrong, My pictures aren't perfect but the better you do, the more people will enjoy looking at them. Shade or sun, try to get a shot that has uniform lighting.
