Well,
After a debate with myself I decided I had better take the gas tank out of my truck and empty the rust out of it. I had plugged up a cople of gas filters, so I fiugred this was probably the best thing to do.
I am a little disapointed in myself for actually running the truck in the condition the tank was in. Last night I pulled the tank out, and emptied what was left and nothing but brown chink rusty fluids came out of the tank. Very nasty stuff. I just hope the fuel filter did its job.
So Now I am soaking the tank with Castrol Super clean and water, and I have oreder a tank repai Kit from KBS only 66 bucks so not too bad. It was cheaper than some of the others, and looks to be a pretty good kit. I will let you guys know.
