These came from Jim Carter and I thought he sold the Steele product line.
People have reported different opinions and experiences regarding Steele rubber parts being sold by various vendors. Two things seem to be certain: Steele always sells Steele parts - they seem to be the best parts and the most expensive parts.
If any other vendor sells Steele parts, I would bet that all their rubber parts do not come from Steele and I would bet that you cannot count on any particular part always coming from Steele.
I have bought many rubber parts from Jim Carter and have never been able to identify one coming from Steele (thought this would be a clever marketing trick). In fact, JC's rubber parts have often been of inferior quality or incorrectly shaped.
