Good looking vehicles. I know you said you wanted to stick with the straight axle, but with as much as you will be driving it I'd go with an IFS and disc brakes on the front. And that gives you the option of drop spindles, too. Put those on my 69, I can now outcorner a lot of cars that I have driven.
