I have no troble getting the grease through the nipples. The shackles/bolts are new as are the nipples with about 500 miles on them. I like playing with the grease gun so I usually lube all the fittings every 1000 miles. In the case of the shackle bolts they were greased when installed and I have greased them twice since.
