Hi folks,

OK, I checked the rear axle and it is definitely a vacuum based 2 speed. That is, there is a diaphragm on the axle pumpkin with 2 rubber tubes going to it. Those attach to 2 metal tubes that originate at the front of the truck. So, should I decide to buy the truck...what is the process of troubleshooting? I'll trace the lines to ensure they are in a good state of repair...but is there anything specific I should look for? Is there any way to disconnect the lines at the diaphragm and test the axle?

Any ideas would be appreciated!!!

Thanks, in advance!!!
