open the cap and start it up make sure you are down a little coolant start up and let warm up carefully place your hand on the upper hose. you will feel the hose get hot and watch the coolant flow thru the radiator it should stop when thermostat closes itmoves pretty good, you might have a air bubble some place I dought it
