Got a call from the body shop this morning a little after 8:00; salesman had delivered the hood ornament. Sent wifey up there to pay for the little jewel and to bring it home. When she got home with it, I was amazed. Going in, the thing had some chrome left on it, but it had a bad case of pimples. I would say that the plating shop had buffed 99.8% of that out. The replate on this ornament is almost shaving-mirror quality. Based upon their work on my bumpers (original to the truck)which have a mirror finish, and what they did with the hood ornament, I would highly recommend them.
