For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 962 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 962 | I called a bumper plating shop today. I want to get the 3-piece bumpers on my Bel-Air chromed. They told me I'd have to cut the rivits out of my bumpers to separate the pieces. They say the parts have to be separated to chrome properly. When I get them back, I'd have to bolt them back together. Is this typical of a chroming process? What type of bolts do you guys use for this?
thanks! Chip
